Faith is one of the seven spirits of God and therefore is part of the very nature of God Himself. It is absolutely impossible for God to operate outside the faith. All that the Lord God's efforts to carry out is done through faith, beginning with the initial creation of the universe, continuing with the call of Abraham, then Moses, and David, culminating in the announcement and the birth of Jesus Christ.

Imagine the Lord God at the beginning of creation. He was staring into a vast empty space called a black void. Nothing existed, nor had there been anything, it was absolutely no way and empty. Then God made a prophetic statement unthinkable: Let there be light, and it was so (Genesis 1:3). The light in the physical realm never before existed in any way, and God called him out as if it had existed. This is the supreme example of faith itself:

God who gives life to the dead and calls things that do not exist, as if they did (Romans 4:17, NIV)

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

By faith we understand have been constituted by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things that are visible. (Hebrews 11:1,3, NKJV)

Or consider the whole plan salvation from God's point of view as an extreme act of faith on their part. He paid the penalty for the sins of the whole Earth, and yet only a fraction of the actually received no benefit from their actions. In fact, it was entirely possible that he would pay the full price for the sins of the world and not one person repent and turn to receive salvation.

My little children, these things I write, that ye sin not. And if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And he is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for everyone. (1 John 2:1-2, KJV)

But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become children of God, to them that believe on his name: which were born not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. (John 1:12-13, KJV)

No one has ascended into heaven but He who descended from heaven, that is, the Son of man which is in heaven. And as Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but the world through Him might be saved.

"Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:13-18, KJV)

the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. "(Luke 19:10 KJV)

Commitment to God with his plan of salvation gives a new perspective of what faith is: faith is to act in full confidence that what has been proclaimed, actually going to happen! The Faith Lord so that He was willing to bet all the result of its proclamation, although there was no real guarantee that his plan would actually success, even for a single individual. God acted in complete faith, in total disregard of everything that was evident that the time while they are much more likely to act by sight than by faith.

By faith, the Lord God initiated and implemented its plan for the salvation of anyone who is willing to accept, by faith, one receive salvation. It is for everyone, but only effective for those who wish to receive by faith.
