Are my choices of college transfer plausible?
I want to try and transfer to UC Berkeley, Davis and Santa Cruz. I attend now San Francisco State University. My GPA is 3.08. My SAT from 2 years are 1910 and 1940 combined to 2010. I have some work experience, and did community service. I am also currently a RA and head on-campus gay-straight alliance. I am a decent writer, and I know I can gather acceptable tests, I worked on them. What are my chances? Do I have? My biggest concern are my notes that I know are lower than the norm. Are they enough to blow my chances?
I tell you good luck. I am a transfer student from a community college at UC Berkeley. Let me tell you, the classes are not the most important thing on your request. If you have at least a 3.0, they will look at your request. Wanted life experience and what you can bring to the College as an individual. Feel free to apply, I never thought a million years I would get into Berkeley, but I did and I do a lot. Also, if you do not get in, it goes to Berkeley you can appeal the decision and they will accept then in May. Go ahead, you sound like you have lots of ambition and a valuable experience under your belt.
